FAQ

Concrete & Driveway Washing FAQs

Most single driveways run $150–$250 and doubles run $200–$350, or about $0.30–$0.55 per square foot. The exact number depends on square footage, oil or rust staining, and whether it's stamped concrete, which takes more care than a plain slab. We confirm the price with a free quote before we start.

In most cases, yes. We pre-treat oil and rust marks with a degreaser before washing, which lifts the majority of staining. Very old, deeply set oil stains sometimes leave a faint shadow — we'll tell you upfront if a spot looks stubborn rather than promise a result we can't guarantee.

Not when it's done at the right pressure and distance for the surface. Plain broom-finish concrete can handle higher pressure; stamped or decorative concrete and older, worn slabs need a gentler touch so we don't chip edges or strip sealant.

Once a year covers most driveways. If yours sits in shade or backs onto grass or trees near the lake, algae and mildew build up faster, so twice a year — spring and fall — keeps it from getting slick and stained.

Spring is the busiest season here — it clears winter road salt and grime and gets ahead of algae before it sets in. Fall is a solid second option. We don't run in freezing conditions since water can ice on the surface.
